And so the Deicing season starts… with our newest client, Flybe

Only a few weeks after our hottest ever day in the UK and against the backdrop of the late August sunshine, the new De-icing season officially starts.

Strange as it may seem, much of our winter operations work takes place in the summer months. Updating training material, client manuals and attending industry forums are just some of the things we get up to in the ‘off ‘ season.

This week the training trail began by delivering our De-Icing Management training course to our newest client, Flybe at their headquarters in Birmingham. The course is especially designed to up-skill management and supervisory teams in the basics of the technical process and the safety based management requirements to successfully deliver it.

As Flybe go into their first winter, the training that the team have received will go a long way to support their operational resilience.
